This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website only (affcon808.com). It does not cover your contract, bid documents, or anything you send us outside the website.

What we collect and why
You can browse this website without telling us who you are. We do not ask you to make an account, and we do not sell your information.
The contact form. The "Send a message" form on our Contact page does not send anything to our website or store anything. When you press "Send message", it opens your own email app with a message to us already filled in (your name, phone number if you gave one, and your project details). Nothing is sent until you press send in your email app. Once you send it, we receive it like any other email. We use it to answer you and to prepare a bid.
Emails and calls. If you email or call us, we get whatever you choose to share, such as your name, contact details, and project information. We use it to reply, to bid, and to do the work.
Staff sign-in. The "Staff login" page is only for our own staff, who use it to update the Team and Projects pages. It uses an email address and password. Visitors do not need it.
Basic technical information. Like any website, our host's servers handle technical details when you load a page, such as your device's internet (IP) address and browser type. This is needed to show you the website and keep it secure.
Cookies and your choices
When you first visit, a small cookie box asks you to Accept or Reject. Both buttons are the same size. The website works the same either way, and if you do not choose, we treat it as Reject.
- Always on: what the website needs to work. This includes remembering your cookie choice and, for staff only, keeping them signed in.
- Only if you accept: our podcast video (from YouTube, on the Media page) and our office map (from Google Maps, on the Contact page) load automatically. YouTube and Google set their own cookies when they load. If you reject, you see a "Show video" or "Show map" button instead, and they load only if you click it. You can also open them on YouTube or Google Maps in a new tab.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we respect it. The video and map will not load on their own, even if you press Accept. You can still click "Show video" or "Show map".
Changing your mind. Click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to open the box again. Your choice is saved in your browser for about 6 months, then we ask again. You can also clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Analytics and service providers
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook) pixels, or advertising trackers.
Our host counts visits. Our website host, Lovable, counts visits so we can see how many people use the site (for example, pages viewed, the type of device, and the country). We see totals, not who you are.
We use these service providers to run the website:
- Lovable hosts the website and counts visits. If a page breaks, Lovable may also receive a technical error report (the page address and the error, nothing you typed).
- Supabase (through Lovable Cloud) stores the Team and Projects content, staff sign-ins, and the photos staff upload.
- Multraverse is the platform that helps run this website. The website checks in with Multraverse to get its settings and to report that it is working. We set it up so these check-ins do not pass on your IP address, browser details, or anything you type.
- YouTube and Google Maps provide the podcast video and the office map, but only load if you accept or click to show them. Their own privacy policies apply.
- Your email provider and ours carry any email you send us.
Our fonts are stored on our own website, so loading a page does not contact a font company.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the reason we collected it. We keep emails and bid requests for as long as we need them to answer you, prepare a bid and do the work, and project records for as long as warranty, tax and legal requirements call for.
Your cookie choice stays in your browser for about 6 months. Staff accounts stay until they are removed.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we have about you,
- correct it, or
- delete it, unless we must keep it (for example, for contracts, warranties, taxes, or the law).
To ask, email or call us using the details at the top of this page. We may need to confirm who you are before we act. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
This website is for businesses and adults planning construction work. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change how the website handles information, we will update this page and the date below.
